We ensure that they are light balanced and adjusted to the correct tonal range. Adjustments include Temperature, Tint, Exposure, Recovery, Fill Light, Blacks, Brightness, Contrast, Clarity, Vibrance, Saturation and Tone Curves.
1. Do you offer Free Trial?
We have a free sample service. Send us 25 images for Color Correction, plus any example images. We will send you 25 great looking images for you to review.
2. Why should I choose you?
These editing services are carried out by professional editors and graphic designers with years of experience, who take special care while editing images. We give our focus to each and every photograph in order to provide with the best of results. We work with you to meet your expectation.
3. What software do you use for editing?
We use the best software for image color correction for professional photographers. We use Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop. If you don’t own software that can read XMPs, we deliver your images as JPEGs.
4. How do I submit files?
Whatever method you prefer. However our preferred method is to upload your images to the secure server space that we will provide when you signup with us. If your internet connection is slow, we will recommend a workflow for quick file transfer, using lossy DNGs. You can use file sharing sites like Dropbox, Google Drive, Wetransfer as well.
5. Which image file formats do you accept and in which formats do you deliver to your clients?
We accept all RAW formats compatible with Lightroom. We accept JPEGs, DNG. When we set up your personalized profile, we will recommend a workflow for quick file transfer, using smart previews of lightroom or lossy DNGs. We deliver your edited images as either XMPs, lightroom catalog or JPEGs. XMPs and catalog file are extremely quick to transfer back and allow for any final tweaking in Lightroom on your end.
6. What is your turn around time?
Our turnaround time is 3 - 5 days excluding holidays and weekend and depending upon the number of images submitted. Kindly get in touch with us before submitting if you want to know with exact delivery date.
7. What is the minimum and maximum amount of images that I can order?
We have No minimum or maximum amounts of images that you may order.
8. What are XMPs and what do I do with them?
Adobe's Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) is a labeling technology that allows you to embed data about a file, known as metadata, into the file itself. With XMP, desktop applications and back-end publishing systems gain a common method for capturing, sharing, and leveraging this valuable metadata, opening the door for more efficient job processing, workflow automation, and rights management, among many other possibilities. With XMP, Adobe has taken the "heavy lifting" out of metadata integration, offering content creators an easy way to embed meaningful information about their projects and providing industry partners with standards-based building blocks to develop optimized workflow solutions.
When we send you your XMPs, you want to copy and paste them into the folder where your images are. In Lightroom or in Bridge, you will be able to see your images change!
Note: JPG images do not come with XMPs because the data is not embedded in the file when the image is taken.
9. How do I know when you receive my images and when they are ready?
Once your order is ready, you will receive a mail from our side. If you use Dropbox or any other medium, we will send you a link from where you can download the work.
10. Do you calibrate your monitors?
We calibrate our monitors at the beginning of every week! Having good calibration ensures that all the machines in our office match one another and allows us to deliver a consistent product.
As a professional photographer, it is essential that your monitors be properly calibrated on a frequent basis, and that your viewing environment be consistent.
